The Story of MyTea
MyTea was founded by a group of friends who share a passion for healthy, organic living. We all enjoy active lifestyles and organic foods. One partner urged the rest of us to try Yerba Mate, the drink of his own South American heritage, instead of going out for coffee. We found it to be a delicious and healthy alternative to coffee and regular tea. We agreed that it seemed to make us feel more alert, sort of like coffee but without the nervousness. We were pleased to find that all major research
showed Mate to be healthy and nutritious in all the same ways as green tea, and in some ways even better. We began to drink it every day, and soon decided that the only sensible thing to do was to introduce everyone else to Yerba Mate. That day, MyTea was born.
